FYT has worked alongside an evolving and recently formed Community Association, which is a partnership between: LA, local people, the local church and a few other volorgs, to rescue some youth and community work provision for this area. We have initiated needs led research amongst local young people (with CYM students) and are now seeking funding to develop a small youth work 'student unit' in the centre as a resource to the local Community Association in delivering youth work. We are hoping to research the interface between church – LA – youth work as well through this development
