Odd Down Youth/Community Centre

Description of the project:

This is a Local Authority Youth Centre that has had its funding cut and looked likely to close. Working alongside a local church, the LA and other voluntary groups FYT has worked in this local co-allition to retain a local service to young people in an area of high social deprivation and great need.

FYT has led on establishing needs led research amongst local young people (using CYM students), has joined the local management team and is seeking funding to establish a small CYM student unit at the centre and in a local church.
