Street Pastors (Bath)

Description of the project:

Part of the national movement of Street Pastors Projects. This service is likely to go 'live' in October 08. The project will seek to respond to the needs of  young people who use the night life in Bath - especially those who are vunerable.

Description of FYT's involvement:

FYT joined forces with 2 local church leaders and the YMCA to instigate research that has led to the development of this work. We are involved in the management team, providing training and will be directly involved in the service provision. FYT has also provided training to a number of other Street Pastor groups (Taunton, Weston Super Mare) and is available to support other devlopments.

Who's it for?

Local young people who use the 'night time economy' in Bath - working in association with other services and agencies. 

Where's it based?

Bath - St Michael's all Angels and Hay Hill Baptist Church
