Talent Bears Fruit

My post as development worker for Talent - Youth in Action is coming to an end, and to wind up I've been visiting some of the people we funded through the initiative and finding out what they have done with the money we gave them. Over the next few weeks I'll be bringing you three great stories which demonstrate just what amazing things young people are capable of, from three very different projects: Southside Online, a young people's radio station based in Lambeth; Shell's Belles, a cheerleading squad from Burnley; and Z Factor, a talent competition run by young people for young people in Essex. It's been a privilege to meet the young people involved, leaders and participants alike - and it has certainly reinforced my belief that young people are Alright, Sensational, Beautiful and Original!
