Beautiful Game

A rousing cheer please for the young people at York Community Church who used their 'Talent' £10 to organise a five a side football tournament. They bought medals with the money and then charged players a small fee to enter. Youth worker Jennie Bigg reported that the event proved a great opportunity for all involved to make new friends - and for the church to reach out into the community. A beautiful game indeed. Special mention must also go to the supporters who braved the chilly Yorkshire air to cheer on their mates - and still managed to smile!
