Storytelling is a skill shared between people and is one of our oldest art forms and communication tools. It brings words and the world to life, stimulates the imagination, and curates a unique space between tellers and listeners.
The majority of the bible is in story form and Jesus was a storyteller.
We inhabit a world far, far removed from the biblical narrative we read. Technology, social and political changes pull us away from the context of the bible times. Yet in stories of the bible and the parables Jesus told are unique truths. These stories need to be repeatedly told, but also updated and recontextualised for another generation.
