FYT: mission with young people at risk
Frontier Youth Trust (FYT) is working with young people at risk towards justice, equality and community; we are a Christian network dedicated to helping young people and communities experience life in all its it fullness. We work directly with young people at risk, resource youth workers through training and publications, and give a voice to those on the margins. We do all this so that young people on the margins can feel and experience God.
Supporting The People With The Dreams
An influential Bishop and Cricketer who is part of FYT's founding story, David Sheppard, once said of FYT, "we must support the people with the dreams". It is an enduring call to youth work.’
Recently FYT has been thinking about ways to support the dreamers. Those who are dreaming of new ways to engage young people at the edge through StreetSpace; those dreaming of ways to help the church make a difference to unemployed young people; and dreaming of a way to support young people as they seek to reduce their offending among so many other dreams.
