We are seeking a brilliant fundraiser… Help us release the resources to nurture pioneering youth work around the UK.
Frontier Youth Trust is a home for pioneering youth work. We are a prophetic movement calling and working for a better world for young people. Our dream is more youth work, and better youth work, for young people everywhere – especially those on the margins. We are a movement of pioneer youth workers and projects, calling others to take pioneering risks in their work with young people. Together, we are a growing movement of people who are reaching young people beyond the church, advocating for positive change, speaking up for young people, challenging injustice and building church on the edge.
Are you an outstanding fundraiser with whom we can build a long-term partnership to resource this movement of pioneers?
In the first instance, we are seeking help on our existing Regional Activist programme. Our Regional Activists support independent youth workers to develop and sustain their pioneering work with young people. This includes training, giving advice, encouragement, coaching and facilitating theological reflection. Each Activist carries a caseload of local projects for which they provide support. They each host regular regional training/support events in their area. We have part-time activists in five regions, and a plan to grow into new areas. We are seeking help to identify, nurture relationships with, and apply to, trusts and foundations that will potentially support this kind of work. We envisage applying to both national and regional groups of a range of grant sizes. We are open to advice on the best strategy for this project.
We would welcome applications from individuals or organisations. To find out more about this opportunity, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are interested in applying, the first stage will be via a letter expressing your interest, outlining your experience and track record, and a brief strategy for a budget of up to £5000. Deadline 30th September 2018.
